New family-friendly night markets

After 20 years of providing farmer’s markets and delicious food across the Gold Coast, The Market Co GC are serving up an exciting new night market every Saturday night. Opening September 3, get ready to meander through stalls offering up luscious foods from across the globe. Redevelopment of Palm Beach Aquatic Centre 

The new centre will inject fresh life into the precinct, with subtropical design elements to reflect the culture, climate and character of the southern Gold Coast. New facilities proposed within the masterplan include learn to swim and olympic sized heated pools, state-of-the-art fitness centre, aquatic playground, modern multipurpose community centre with conference rooms, studios and more, poolside cafe, new crèche, and more. The centre is currently under development and scheduled to reopen in early 2024.

Proposed Stage 4 of the Gold Coast Light Rail

Stage 4 is a 13km extension of the Light Rail Stage 3, linking Burleigh Heads to Coolangatta, running straight through Palm Beach Ave! The future southern extension will provide ultimate convenience to renowned Burleigh Head National Park, Palm Beach Village Centre, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Southern Cross University, the Gold Coast Airport, and more.
